This is a Dean European Select neck-thru 5-string bass – made in Czech Republic sometime in the 90s at the same factory as the much pricier Spector basses. Considering the price point, this instrument is loaded with pro features and beautiful details:

-EMG-HZ pickups
-gorgeous quilted maple top and sunburst finish
-neck-thru construction and the solid, shapely, heavy alder/mahogany body gives you great tone and sustain and immense “spector-like” tone.
-abalone in-lays.

One minor blemish on tip of headstock (in a fairly non-visible place. see photo). Otherwise, this instrument is like new. It does not come with a hardshell case.
